Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Elgin are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team. Our Greyfriars Close service provides support for adults with learning disabilities in Elgin. Each tenant at Greyfriars Close has their own flat with access to a communal area. We aim to support tenants to reach their goals and aspirations by providing person centred approaches to our work. We also have an Outreach Service providing support for adults with learning disabilities. Our Outreach Service presently provide support to people in different areas of Elgin who have their own tenancies. We aim to support them in all aspects of their day to day living and to promote their independence and wellbeing. The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members. No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided to you. We believe having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity is all you need to join our team! As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
