Key Responsibilities
* Design end-to-end services across multiple touchpoints (digital, phone, paper, in-person)
* Map and improve user journeys, identifying pain points and opportunities
* Facilitate service design workshops with stakeholders across policy, operations, and technology
* Use evidence and user research insights to inform design decisions
* Create and maintain:
o Service blueprints
o Journey maps
o Ecosystem maps
* Collaborate closely with:
o User Researchers
o Interaction Designers
o Content Designers
o Delivery Managers
* Ensure alignment with GDS Service Standard and accessibility requirements
* Support service assessments (Alpha, beta, live)
* Contribute to continuous improvement and iteration of live services
Essential Skills & Experience
1. Proven experience as a Service Designer in government or public sector
