Nursery Nurse (Level 3)
A welcoming and inclusive primary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional looking to secure a long-term role within a school setting. The successful candidate will start ASAP and, subject to a successful placement, continue on a one-year contract from September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting teaching and learning within the Nursery classroom
* Assisting with observations and children’s developmental progress
* Supporting children with their social, emotional, and educational development
* Creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment
* Working closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent recognised Early Years qualification
* Have previous experience working within a nursery, Reception, or Early Years setting
* Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* Be confident supporting children’s learning through play‑based activities
* Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
* Be proactive, nurturing, and committed to supporting every child to reach their full potential
Contract & Salary
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Immediate start with a one-year contract from September 2026
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
