Flexographic Printer – Packaging
I’m currently working with a well-established packaging manufacturer who are looking to bring an experienced Flexographic Printer into their production team. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility on press, ideal for someone who takes pride in quality and performance.
The Role:
* Running flexo presses to achieve high-quality output and maximum efficiency
* Managing make-readies, run speeds and waste levels
* Mixing inks and maintaining consistent colour standards
* Taking ownership of press performance, quality and output
* Supporting and guiding press assistants / crew members
* Liaising with management on production and quality control
* Carrying out basic maintenance and ensuring equipment is used correctly
What They’re Looking For:
* Strong background in flexographic printing (ideally packaging)
* Good understanding of anilox, plates, sleeves, inks &; substrates
* Confident with colour matching and quality control
* Able to work independently and make decisions on press
* Positive, hands-on attitude with a team-first mindset
* Awareness of H&;S and hygiene standards within a production environment

Role
* Basic salary up to £40K DOE
* 36 hour work week, mix of 12 hour weekly rotating days and nights (no Saturdays)
