Hours and contract
Hours: Fully Flexible; up to 5 days out of 7, covering hours between 07:00 and 20:00 (up to 21:30 during peak season on a rotational basis). Contract Type: Seasonal, until Winter 2025.
Role overview
Here at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort our 2025 season is in full swing, and we are recruiting for a Pool Lifeguard to join our AWESOME Hotel Leisure Team. As a LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel pool Lifeguard, you will monitor the pool, carry out the scanning pattern, man the pool check-in area, and welcome guests to their swim session, confirming any information they might need. You’ll keep an eye on pool ratios, maintain a high standard of health and safety, and ensure guests comply with pool regulations to keep them safe. You will also work within our changing room and gym facilities, ensuring both areas are kept clean and presented to a high standard for our guests. As a qualified Lifeguard you will keep your training up to date with mandatory monthly NPLQ training and team-building sessions.
Responsibilities
* Monitor pool and surroundings, follow scanning pattern, manage pool check-in
* Enforce pool rules and safety regulations; maintain guest safety at all times
* Clean and maintain changing rooms and gym facilities to a high standard
* Keep training up to date with monthly NPLQ sessions and team activities
Qualifications & Experience
* Hold a current NPLQ qualification
* Ideally hold a First Aid or Emergency Aid at Work certificate
* Clear communication with guests and colleagues
* Good working knowledge of PSOP and Health & Safety requirements
* Passionate about pool safety

About The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort
We are looking for a Pool Lifeguard to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12, featuring three LEGO-themed hotels and a range of rides, shows and attractions built around the LEGO brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, on 150 acres of parkland.
