Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join our friendly and supportive early years team on a maternity cover basis, starting June/July 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident practitioner who enjoys leading a room, inspiring others, and providing high-quality care and education for young children.
About the Role
* Lead and inspire a room team to deliver outstanding practice
* Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS
* Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
* Build positive relationships with parents and carers
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance
* Support and mentor practitioners within the room
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
* Previous experience as a Room Leader or a strong practitioner ready to step up
* Sound knowledge of the EYFS and child development
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* A caring, enthusiastic, and professional approach
