The Energy Manager will be responsible for optimising energy performance across data centre infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation of critical systems while supporting the organisations sustainability objectives. This role will play a key part in new data centre design and construction, ensuring best practice in energy efficiency, power utilisation and environmental performance. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, facilities, construction teams and external partners to reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Procurement of Energy Utilise the Wholesale market to procure energy up to 3 years in advance. Accurate forecasting of portfolio requirements using Building Books system. Lead negotiations with Energy Suppliers and/or Brokers to ensure best price for group. Monthly reporting of position and procurement strategy to Group. Development of Energy Parks. Represent Group on all matters relating to Energy Park Developments. Meeting Landowners to discuss proposed developments. Present HOT/ Option agreements and act as Group representative in meetings. Oversee project team including Land agent and Planning consultant. Appointment of Specialised consultants for all sections of EIAR. Weekly reporting of all aspects of above. Portfolio Building Upgrades. Oversee Installation of PV on all Group Properties. Instruct Installation of EV in all Group Properties. Monthly reporting of PV Yield with specific details of procurement savings for all properties and Group as a whole. Ensure accurate reporting of building consumptions.
