Supply Chain Analyst
Permanent role, full time, 39 hours a week
Hybrid (currently 3 days office, 2 days from home)
Will be expected to provide weekend cover between 7am and 10am as agreed with other team members
Salary: £28-33 per annum + benefits
Reporting to: Head of Demand and Fulfilment transformation
About the Role
The Supply Chain Analyst supports the wider supply chain and distribution teams by enabling ongoing monitoring of the network’s performance and supporting the identification of improvement opportunities. Following significant investments in Pets at Home’s supply chain, including a transition to a new distribution centre and the implementation of the AI supply planning platform (Relex), accuracy and timeliness of data have become crucial. A key part of this role is to ensure high-quality data inputs and monitor outputs.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily checklists, conduct periodic checks of data inputs, and produce KPI reports focused on supply chain and logistics.
* Identify patterns and trends from data and insights, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities to team members.
* Assist Relex Super Users with daily system operations, minor enhancements, and testing.
* Provide daily monitoring, including weekend coverage, and support during system failures to minimize disruptions.
* Act as a trusted expert and guardian of supply chain processes.
* Respond to internal queries regarding product availability and stockholding.
* Ensure adherence to established standards and procedures through training and monitoring.
* Support initiatives to improve people, processes, and systems, from evaluation to ongoing maintenance.

Experience and Skills Required
* Practical understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
* Comfortable with numbers, statistics, and technology
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge of Relex or similar supply chain planning solutions is desirable
* Ability to handle data sources via SQL, Python, or PowerQuery is advantageous
