This position offers genuine variety and the chance to work across all levels of the business, from strategic planning to day-to-day operational support. Key Responsibilities Assist with the development and implementation of company-wide training and personal development strategy Work with the Commercial Director to ensure alignment between HR strategy and business goals Provide expert advice on employee benefits and workplace policies Share HR best practice with managers across the business Keep abreast with current HR legislation and ensure compliance Assist in developing HR policies and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes Ensure employee contracts and job descriptions remain current and up-to-date Support recruitment strategy and process including placing adverts and managing documentation Develop job descriptions and organise new staff inductions and annual reviews Manage and record monthly staff movement data for Finance Department and payroll stakeholders Administer and coordinate employee relations casework including dispute resolution, disciplinary, grievance, absence and retirement matters Maintain accurate records of relevant meetings and incidents across the business Communicate progress with stakeholders throughout recruitment and HR processes Is this role for you? This position will suit an energetic, organised and enthusiastic HR professional who takes pride in working to a high level of accuracy. You will need to have excellent administrative skills and be a real “people person” who can demonstrate a natural ability to integrate and communicate effectively with their colleagues at all levels within the business. Given the high level of access to confidential information, the ability to work within GDPR best practice and with integrity is essential. Career advancement into a senior management role may be possible for the right person after an appropriate amount of time and a proven ability to be able to deliver to a consistently high standard.
