Office Location: City of London, on a hybrid working pattern Base salary: £35,000 per annum plus competitive commission plan Key Responsibilities Outreach & Channel Strategy Drive proactive lead generation through targeted outbound calling initiatives, utilising your expertise to identify and engage potential prospects effectively. Execute nurturing campaign strategies tailored to the nuances of the SaaS industry to attract and effectively qualify potential B2B customers Use multi-touch outreach campaigns using email, calls, LinkedIn, and video to reach prospects in ways that resonate. Harness data to prioritise the right conversations — focusing on the leads who show genuine interest. Adapt the approach to each individual, engaging prospects through their preferred channels. Lead Qualification & Engagement Qualify inbound MQLs to generate high-quality appointments for the business development team. Apply seasoned judgment to qualify and disqualify new business opportunities, conducting thorough conversations via phone and online. Respond to high-intent leads quickly and thoughtfully, ensuring every conversation is timely, relevant, and personal. Create meaningful first impressions that turn curiosity into opportunity. Be the lead connection with potential clients, understanding their compliance needs, and identifying where Skillcast can make a difference. Technology & AI Integration Embrace AI and automation tools to personalise communication, boost productivity, and stay ahead of the curve. Utilise our internal systems, like our CRM platform, to record and manage pipeline activities, ensuring accurate tracking of qualified opportunities and seamless coordination within the Skillcast sales ecosystem. Use technology creatively to build scalable, high-quality outreach sequences that reflect each company’s unique context. Reporting & Collaboration Collaborate closely across Sales, Marketing, and RevOps, helping shape the messaging and ensure seamless alignment across teams. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to build and execute comprehensive outbound prospecting campaigns, qualify inbound leads and effectively manage the sales pipeline. Share insights and best practices to strengthen collective success — from campaign feedback to prospect trends. Contribute ideas and energy to team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing improvements. Want to apply? Here is what we need from you: Minimum of 2 years SDR experience within the SaaS industry, selling to B2B clients Proven track record of Lead Generation and Technical Pre-Sales Experience and proficiency in using Sales tools (LinkedIn; HubSpot; SalesNav, Cognism, etc.) to drive business generation and enhance productivity. Expertise in navigating complex organisational structures to identify key decision-makers and understanding customer needs to qualify potential customers effectively. Ability to articulate ideas, share best practices and communicate confidently and persuasively with senior and middle management stakeholders. Driven and proactive attitude to learning new products and techniques for sales generation Driven, go-getter attitude with a curious and proactive mindset Proven track record of being target-driven, enthusiastic and able to deliver consistent results towards business growth. Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to workload planning and ensuring efficient and effective task execution in a fast-paced, digital set-up.
