You will: Provide Speech and Language Therapy at a highly specialist level, within the area of deafness, functioning in partnership with other agencies and disciplines to support in the holistic assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children and young people known to the service. You will demonstrate clinical leadership in deafness and represent the local team/service area in appropriate meetings to support and develop quality services for deaf children and young people within Luton in an integrated partnership model, where possible.Provide assessment, advice and therapy where appropriate to children and young people with hearing impairment with and without EHCPs across Luton Provide intervention and support to those deaf children and young people who attend deaf specialist provisions in the mainstream schools and those who are supported by peripatetic Teachers of the Deaf either in their home environment or in their pre-school or school setting.
