About the Team
Cleeve Court is one of our two Community Resource Centres (CRCs), providing essential care and support to older adults, including those living with dementia. Our CRCs in Bath and Midsomer Norton are warm, welcoming environments where residents receive high-quality care in a safe and comfortable setting.
You’ll be joining a passionate and supportive hospitality team that plays a vital role in creating a positive daily experience for our residents. We work together to ensure mealtimes are enjoyable, nutritious, and delivered with care and dignity.
About the Role
This is a permanent, part-time position, offering either 21 or 27 hours per week. You’ll work on a set rota that includes alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll help deliver our catering service by:
* Assisting with the transportation and delivery of meals from the kitchen
* Supporting food and drink service to residents and visitors
* Setting up and cleaning dining areas and kitchen spaces
* Ensuring crockery, cutlery, and utensils are clean and ready for each meal
* Communicating effectively with care staff, residents, and visitors
Your contribution will help ensure our residents enjoy nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* A proactive team player, but also confident working independently
* Friendly and approachable, with good communication skills
* Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Experience in a catering environment and knowledge of food safety is desirable, but don’t worry if you’re new to this full training will be provided.
