Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our dynamic team. As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of metal components for various projects. You will work with a variety of metals, ensuring that all welding and fabrication tasks are carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and schematics.
* Measure, cut, and shape metal components to required specifications.
* Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques.
* Assemble and fit components, ensuring proper alignment and securing.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets the specified standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Operate various tools and machinery including grinders, cutting machines, and welding machines.
* Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed in the workshop.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.
* Proficient in MIG welding techniques.
* Solid understanding of metal fabrication and welding processes.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in welding.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* [Preferred] Coded Welder to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2007
