* Fixed‑term contract / secondment opportunity until 31/3/27
* Experienced and motivated nurses required to lead the Lung Screening Programme
* Support the delivery and development of the regional lung screening service at NNUH, part of the East of England Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) network

Job Responsibilities

* Act as the main clinical contact for the day‑to‑day running of the Target Lung Health Checks Programme
* Organise and prioritise workload for self and team
* Deputise in the operational lead’s absence and delegate appropriately
* Adhere to Trust protocols and procedures, particularly in medicine administration and mobility
* Maintain accurate audit records for the Trust
* Monitor risk management and report incidents
* Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge in respiratory screening, assessment, care and management of patients with respiratory conditions
* Provide specialist clinical knowledge to colleagues, patients and carers


Person Specification

* Essential - Qualifications
o RGN (level 1) or equivalent AHP registration
o Evidence of relevant post‑registration study
* Desirable - Qualifications
o MSc level or working towards
* Essential - Experience
o Proven post‑registration experience with specialist field expertise
o Experience of change management and service development
* Essential - Skills
o Able to communicate complex/sensitive/technical information clearly, succinctly and with empathy in a variety of settings
* Essential - Attitude & Aptitude
o Effective role model, demonstrating NNUH’s PRIDE values of People focussed, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence
o Demonstrates understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
