Your Role as a LKS2 Teacher
As a LKS2 Teacher, you will play a key role in ensuring students build on their learning from Key Stage 1 and develop the foundational skills they need for Upper Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to spark curiosity and excitement in learning
Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported
Implementing strategies to develop literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills
Assessing student progress and providing targeted support to ensure every child's success
Encouraging social, emotional, and personal development, helping children grow in confidence and independence
Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to provide the best learning experience for every child
Participating in school events, professional development, and staff meetings to contribute to the school's success
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds QTS and has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 4
Is passionate about supporting children's growth in both literacy and numeracy
Is adaptable and creative, able to cater lessons to meet diverse learning needs
Communicates effectively and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
Is committed to fostering a love of learning and supporting children's overall development
