Are you practical, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We're looking for a reliable and motivated Production & Despatch Support Operative to play a key role in our busy operation.
This is a hands-on role based on the shop floor, working at the heart of our production and logistics process. You'll be the link between production, transport, and despatch — making sure stock flows smoothly and deliveries go out on time.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Coordinating and preparing goods ready for despatch.
* Liaising with production teams to track job progress and confirm loads are ready.
* Assisting with loading/unloading and staging items for delivery.
* Communicating with drivers and the transport team to manage collections and drop-offs.
* Labelling outgoing goods and ensuring accurate identification of stock.
* Monitoring stock availability and flagging any shortages or issues.
* Keeping despatch areas tidy, safe, and organised.
* Inputting basic updates into internal systems and supporting with occasional paperwork.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in despatch, warehouse, or production work.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams.
* A positive, hands-on approach with good attention to detail.
* Comfortable in a physical, fast-moving environment.
* Basic IT/data entry skills (training provided).
* A dependable team player with a proactive attitude.
