Senior Technical Sales Executive
£40,000+ dependent on experience
Remote based with regular national and international travel
Blush & Bloom Talent is delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a leading ingredients manufacturer. Due to recent expansion and growth within the business, they are in search of a Senior Technical Sales Executive to join their dynamic team.
We are looking for an individual with a technical/scientific background with a true passion for the cosmetics and personal care industry, as well as the emerging trends of the industry too!
You will work in a customer-facing role in which you will develop long-term relationships with customers and distributors, you will apply your technical knowledge and provide customised solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Foster and develop relationships with customers and distributors, ensuring their needs are met.
* Respond promptly to enquiries regarding pricing and samples, while offering technical and marketing assistance to customers and distributors.
* Establish and maintain connections with customers and distributors through both virtual and face-to-face meetings (must be willing to travel).
* Deliver presentations of technical content to clients and distributors.
* Drive sales growth in a competitive market by expanding upon the existing client portfolio.
* Utilise your technical expertise to provide tailor-made solutions.
* Participate in trade shows, conferences, seminars, and sales gatherings, both domestically and internationally as necessary.
* Conduct webinars and virtual training sessions for customers and distributors.
* Keep abreast of trends in the cosmetic industry, domestically and internationally, identifying avenues for expansion.
* Manage multiple accounts, projects, and initiatives, adjusting your approach as needed to accommodate international relations.
Key Requirements:
* Ideally a degree in a Scientific field e.g. Chemistry or Cosmetic Science
* Attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in IT, data handling, literacy, and numeracy.
* Enjoy collaborating in a close-knit team.
* Must possess a full UK Driving Licence.
* A proven track record of successful account or project management, ideally in the cosmetics industry or similar.
* Willingness to travel.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Tenacity and self-reliance, motivated and enthusiastic.
