Description Scope of Work: The Senior Offshore Pipelines Engineer will be responsible to produce the following deliverables (Including but not limited to) Support to Project Design Basis Generate Piping MTO Pipeline General Layout Drawings Pipeline Section Drawings Pipeline Subsea Crossing Details Pipeline Specifications (Cleaning, Dewatering, Drying, Nitrogen Inerting) Cathodic Protection Philosophy Conduct Stress Analysis Produce Pipeline Datasheets Pipeline Mechanical Design Report Construction Execution Report GIS Route Maps Support to Pipeline Construction Specification Key Requirements: Typically holds a Master’s Engineering degree (honours or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Naval Architecture or similar engineering discipline. Chartered status preferred, must be a member of a Professional Engineering Institution. Exposure to FEED / detailed design and EPC projects. Strong experience of working for engineering / client organizations in the onshore / offshore oil and gas industry. Knowledge of subsea pipelines is also useful. Understanding of the fundamentals of pipeline engineering, and of regulatory frameworks, codes, and standards. Experience in design and analysis of CO2 and H2 onshore and offshore pipelines in the Low Carbon sector is considered advantageous.
