An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our admin team in the Children's & Learning Disability Division. We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic, motivated person to join our administration team.

You will provide administrative support to clinical services within the Division and contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team.

This role is varied, and you will need to have the ability to work as part of a team, use your initiative in day-to-day tasks, and have good communication skills to deal with varying enquiries.

The post is Monday to Friday.


Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role include:

* Providing administrative support to clinical services within the Division and contributing to the planning and development of the service as a team member.
* Supporting operational meetings by collating documents, taking minutes, and distributing them in a timely manner.
* Working closely with the Division's Personal Assistant/Administrative Officer to complete ad hoc duties as they arise.
* Working days will be Monday - Friday.

Person Specification


Qualifications and Knowledge

* Knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices
* 3 or more GCSE/O levels, including English and Maths
* Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent, Advanced ECDL


Experience

* Experience of practice and procedures relevant to the role
* Knowledge and experience of IT systems such as System1, ESR, Oracle, Microsoft Office
* Experience using Trust IT systems like Lorenzo, ESR, Oracle
* Experience with Microsoft Teams
* Team player
* Effective planning and prioritization skills
* Ability to motivate others
* Ability to commute effectively between sites with access to transportation
* Light physical effort for lifting stationery, files, sitting at a keyboard, or standing at a reception desk
