Supply Desk is proud to be working in partnership with a nurturing SEN school in Borehamwood to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a full-time, long-term role starting in January 2026.

The Role:
You’ll support teaching staff and the SENCO in delivering tailored support across Key Stage 1, with responsibilities aligned to your experience and the specific needs of the pupils.
Key Duties:
Delivering focused interventions in literacy, numeracy, and emotional development
Assisting with the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation in lessons
Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues
Adapting learning resources to suit individual learning styles
Tracking pupil progress and providing feedback to the class teacher
Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to support
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children learn
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
