Location - Home based (requires travel) Job Purpose Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice to support safe, compliant construction on projects registered under MDIS Warranty schemes. Key Responsibilities Inspect new-build and converted homes in line with the Technical Manual and Building Regulations. Plan and manage your own workload to deliver a professional, responsive service. Record inspection details and share findings clearly with customers and colleagues. Work with Surveyors and Management to maintain technical standards. Build positive relationships with Developers, Clients and Builders, offering practical guidance. Skills & Experience 3 years in a construction, surveying, inspection or similar technical role. Chartered (Member level) or Class 2b Competent under the Building Inspector Competency Framework Good understanding of site inspections, defect identification and Building Regulations. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable using MS Office and mobile devices. Full UK driving licence. Able to work across multiple sites (reasonable adjustments welcomed).
