Job Role: Facilities Manager
Location: Ipswich
Salary: 38000–45000

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the effective delivery of maintenance and response works. In this vital role, you will ensurepliance with statutory regulations and Health & Safety standards while driving operational efficiency, quality, and value for money.
What You'll Do
1. Manage the supply chain to ensure qualified operatives are assigned appropriately.
2. Review risk assessments and method statements, ensuringpliance with Asbestos and Legionella management plans.
3. Oversee project management under CDM regulations from inception topletion, ensuring financial andmercial accountability.
4. Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders.
5. Manage additional work projects, assist in resolvingplaints, and ensure all maintenance and response tasks are properly recorded and tracked.
6. Lead a team by providing supervision, coaching, and performance monitoring to ensure service levels are met.
7. Contribute to forward maintenance planning and ensure efficient operations to maintain a profitable business.
Qualifications:
8. Qualifications: Level 4 Facilities Management Qualification or equivalent technical experience.
9. Experience: Expertise in planned and response maintenance.
10. Certifications: HNC qualification or equivalent is essential; professional memberships and NEBOSH or SMSTS certifications are desirable.
11. Additional Skills: Willingness to take on responsibilities such as Confined Space and Working at Height Authorised Person.
