This role offers the opportunity to work with pupils in Years 5 or 6, supporting them during a crucial stage of their primary education as they develop independence, resilience, and academic confidence. About the Role As a UKS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will teach across the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on raising attainment in core subjects while providing a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes curiosity and critical thinking. You will use assessment effectively to monitor progress, identify gaps, and plan targeted support to ensure every pupil achieves their potential. High expectations for learning, behaviour, and presentation will underpin your classroom practice, alongside a calm and consistent approach to behaviour management. This role requires someone who can build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents. You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants and UKS2 colleagues to ensure consistency and progression across the phase.
