Manpower are currently recruiting for a Processing Operative to join a busy recycling facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with the potential for an immediate start for the right candidate.

Location
* Site location requires own or reliable transport
Shift Pattern
* Monday - Friday (6am-2pm/ 3pm-11pm on rotation)
* 8-hour shifts
* Shift-based work, which may include weekends
Pay Rate
* £13.04ph
Key Responsibilities
* Operating machinery to process lead/ acid safely and efficiently
* Carrying out manual handling and lifting of heavy materials
* Following all start-up and shutdown procedures for equipment
* Ensuring correct use of PPE at all times
* Assisting with loading/unloading materials where required
* Completing all necessary paperwork and records accurately
What We're Looking For
Experience
* Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling, or industrial environment
Skills
* Strong awareness of health & safety practices
* Ability to work in a physically demanding role
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
* Ability to work both independently xsngvjr and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn new machinery and processes
* Willingness to work with hazardous and corrosive materials
* Happy working in a high-temperature environment
* Mandatory use of specialist PPE, including protective suits and respiratory equipment
