About the Impact Academy
Tradewind's Impact Academy is a structured, graduate-entry programme designed to develop high-performing Recruitment Consultants from the ground up. Through personalised coaching, hands-on experience, and ongoing mentorship, you'll gain everything you need to succeed in the recruitment industry.
You'll work alongside experienced professionals with decades of success in education recruitment.
What You'll Do as a Graduate Recruitment Consultant
In your first year, your focus will be on sourcing and supporting outstanding education professionals across Kent. Your responsibilities will include:
Interviewing and screening candidates for teaching and support roles
Writing engaging candidate profiles and CVs for school marketing
Supporting the sales team to place candidates into schools across the region
Building strong, professional relationships with candidates and team members
Meeting performance targets and earning commission along the way
Developing your understanding of the education landscape and recruitment cycle
Your Career Path at Tradewind
Once you complete your first year, you'll move into a full sales role where you'll manage your own client base. You'll also receive advanced training in:
Business development and client relationship management
Negotiation, pricing strategy, and objection handling
Time management and organisation
