Morson Edge are working with a major player in the Energy sector who have a current (contract) requirement for a Field Engineer - Welding Inspector. The successful candidate will join an established site-based team on a nationally significant infrastructure Project in Somerset.
Scope
* The Field Engineer will perform Surveillance to give confidence that the activities are performed in accordance with the Contractor's Work Information.
* He / She will form part of a team with the primary responsibility of ensuring delivery of the Quality needs, targets and upholding contract related expectations.
Typical Accountabilities (not limited to):
1. Check the Works are constructed in accordance with the Contractor's Work Information and escalate any deviation and non-conformance request requirements submitting details of any NCR requirements to assist in the issuing of non-conformance reports.
2. Proactively communicate with other stakeholders of the considered scope of work, maintain good communication links and ensure surveillance is accurately and timely reported.
