Social Media & Community Lead
Location: Centrail London (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week)
We’re partnering with an ambitious consumer brand looking for a Social Media & Community Lead to take ownership of organic social growth and audience engagement across key digital channels.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-autonomy role where you’ll shape strategy, create content, build meaningful online communities, and help define how a modern brand shows up across social.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong creative instincts with commercial awareness. Someone who understands what drives organic reach, knows how to create platform-native content, and can build communities that genuinely engage.
The Role
You’ll lead social and community strategy across key channels, taking ownership of both execution and long-term growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Owning and evolving the organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
* Creating engaging, high-performing short-form content that feels native to each platform
* Growing and nurturing an engaged online community through thoughtful content and conversation
* Developing creator and partnership opportunities that increase reach and credibility
* Identifying trends, testing creative ideas quickly, and scaling what performs
* Working cross-functionally with creative and performance teams to align messaging and learnings
* Using platform insights and performance signals to refine content direction
About You
We’re looking for someone who understands organic social beyond surface-level best practice.
You’ll likely have:
* 4–6 years’ experience in social media, content or community-focused roles
* Experience within DTC, consumer, lifestyle, wellness or fast-growth brand environments
* A strong eye for content and storytelling
* Confidence creating content yourself (particularly mobile-first content)
* Strong understanding of what drives growth across Instagram, TikTok and community-led channels
* A test-and-learn mindset with the ability to move quickly
* Commercial awareness and comfort using performance data to inform decisions
Highly desirable:
You’ve built your own social presence, creative platform, or community and understand firsthand what drives audience growth.
