Swindon | Up to £45,000 + car allowance + bonus | 8:30am - 5:30pm | Monday to Friday | Permanent | Hybrid role within a forward-thinking fit-out company managing retail client accounts.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an Account Manager to join a successful fit-out company based in the Swindon area. This is a rare opportunity for someone with a background in shop fit out account management to work within a dynamic and growing business.


Key Duties:
* Maintain and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients and appointed partners.
* Ensure professional and high-quality customer service is delivered at all times.
* Manage enquiries, cost documents, and financial accounts within agreed timescales.
* Monitor and ensure accuracy of client pricing documents and templates.
* Review and produce project final accounts for presentation and negotiation.
* Audit new business estimating activities and support successful tender submissions.
* Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to achieve successful project outcomes.
* Liaise with clients and partners regarding commercial matters.
* Oversee prototype development processes and manage expectations.
* Monitor quotations for accuracy against project drawings and schedules.
* Manage stock levels to maintain commercial efficiency.
* Produce weekly reports on project quotations and final account status.
* Monitor pricing rates and maintain commercial competitiveness.
* Update business sales forecast documents monthly.
Requirements:
* Previous experience within shop fit out account management.
* Strong relationship management and communication skills.
* Ability to apply commercial judgement and negotiation skills effectively.
* Experience working within retail interiors and display equipment sectors.
* Ability to interpret drawings, schedules, bills of materials, and client control documents.
* Understanding of tendering processes and methods of working.
* Relevant qualification or suitable account management experience.
