With many of the accounts based in Europe and the US, you will be travelling around 25% of the time to visit customers and attend trade shows. The rest of the time, you will be in the office collaborating across the business or working from home. You will be responsible for many different things, but most importantly you will be networking across your accounts and building relationships from top to bottom. The Candidate: Key Account Manager The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a sales position, and will have most of the following skills and experience: • Experience in managing and growing accounts, with a good commercial mindset. • Experience in a technical or scientific industry. • Comfortable in an SME environment, where processes and systems are being developed. • Willing to travel throughout the UK and internationally for customer visits and occasional scientific conferences, on average 30% of the time
