SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary (Start: After October Half Term)

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join a specialist primary SEN setting in the Sale area from after October half term.
About the Role
You will be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, complex learning difficulties, and communication needs. Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff, you will help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
* Assist with implementing individual education and behaviour plans
* Encourage independence and promote positive behaviour
* Support pupils with sensory and communication needs
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents
* Personal care is required
About You
* Experience working with children with SEN (particularly within a primary setting)
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
