About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised and compassionate Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality Day Services for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and complex or challenging needs.
In this role, you will:
* Lead, supervise and support a team of Support Workers
* Develop creative, person-centred activities within both community and building-based settings
* Ensure services meet required standards, legislation and best practice
* Build strong relationships with families, carers, and external agencies
* Manage rotas, staff performance, training, supervisions and appraisals
* Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments, incident reporting and adherence to policies
* Maintain accurate records and support quality monitoring
* Work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota
About You
You’ll bring:
* NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
* Experience working with adults with challenging behaviours
* Previous experience supervising or leading staff
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, The Care Act, MCA and Health & Safety legislation
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
* Flexibility to work shifts, evenings, weekends and bank holidays if required
* Enhanced DBS (Adults Barred List)
