Working as part of Remit’s commercial team to support the continuous development of technicians within the automotive sector.</p><h3>Adult Technical Trainer</h3><h3>Remuneration Package</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)</li><li>Flexible working</li><li>25 days annual leave + bank holidays</li><li>Additional birthday day off</li><li>Range of health & wellbeing resources</li><li>Life assurance</li><li>Pension</li></ul><h3>Key Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Support development of blended and face‑to‑face learning resources to meet programme specifications for IMI Electric Vehicle accreditations from Level 1 to 4.</li><li>Deliver engaging and effective training which results in successful outcomes for delegates and employers.</li><li>Facilitate practical, oral assessments and online examinations and ensure Remit invigilation process are followed.</li><li>Complete relevant administration within given timescales, including written assessment reports, marking, assessment documentation, delegate satisfaction results and any others required.</li><li>Maintain professional standards – self/learners/facilities.</li><li>Work with key stakeholders to evaluate and modify training and development solutions.</li><li>Share responsibility for the security, general upkeep, and housekeeping within the Remit training facility.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality as appropriate in respect of the learner and their workplace.</li><li>Implement the Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity policies always.</li><li>Report any accidents/incidents according to Remit procedures.</li><li>Ensure technical knowledge is kept constantly updated by way of self-learning and company supported CPD.</li><li>Liaise with customers both by phone/email and on‑site as needed.</li><li>Commercial sales / business development.</li><li>Technical queries.</li><li>Invoicing, registrations, tracking.</li><li>Claims for qualifications.</li><li>Training centre coordination when paying clients on‑site.</li></ul><h3>Key Requirements</h3><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Electric Vehicle Level 4</li><li>Qualified technician at level 3</li><li>Maths and English at equivalent functional skills level 2 or above</li><li>Teaching qualification</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>Recent relevant industry or teaching experience in the repair and maintenance of electrically propelled engines.</li><li>Ability to motivate, inspire and develop individuals.</li><li>Experience in working in the training/educational sector.</li></ul><h3>Skills & Knowledge</h3><ul><li>Influence & motivate learners.</li><li>Manage own workload to achieve targets.</li><li>Possess health and safety knowledge and risk assessment.</li><li>Full, valid driving licence.</li><li>Good interpersonal skills.</li><li>Effective time management and able to work to deadlines.</li><li>Good written & oral communication skills.</li><li>Able to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to work flexibly, working during daytime, evenings and weekends on occasion if required.</li></ul></div>
