Location: Ashford, Kent
Pay: £16.22 per hour (Monday to Friday days), £17.34 per hour (weekends and bank holidays), £12.21 per hour (sleeping nights, Monday to Friday, for age 21+), plus £1 extra for sleeping nights on weekends and bank holidays.
Hours: Various shifts available: Term Time: Monday and Thursday 3pm - 8pm, Wednesday and Thursday nights 7:45pm - 9am, Saturday and Sunday days 8:15 am - 9pm. During college holidays, 12-hour shifts are available. Opportunities for permanent and bank hours.
Driver required? Yes, essential.
Using own vehicle? Yes, on duty and for training, with business insurance.
Essential experience: Understanding of autism, learning difficulties, ADHD, speech and language delay, hearing difficulties.
Desirable: Experience working with children with special needs (preferred but not essential). Enthusiasm, patience, and willingness to learn are essential.
Pets: 1 dog

About the role: I am a young man born in 2006, seeking a caring, patient, and supportive person to help me transition into my own space near Ashford. I live with my family and a dog. I have autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, hearing impairment, and speech delay. I enjoy outings, music, gaming, and social activities. Your role will include personal care, supporting daily activities, and helping me participate in education, therapy, and leisure activities. Once I move, you will assist with cooking and household chores. Patience is key as I adapt to living independently.
Additional hours: Extra hours may be available during college holidays and for cover shifts, ideal for dependable individuals interested in building a strong connection.
