Are you a creative and enthusiastic Product Design teacher ready to make a difference? A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school just outside York is looking for a talented supply teacher to join their Design & Technology department from January 2026.
About the Role:
You’ll be teaching Product Design to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them explore materials, processes, and design thinking. The school boasts well-equipped workshops and a supportive team that values innovation and hands-on learning.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Delivering engaging, practical lessons that spark creativity
2. Supporting students in developing design and technical skills
3. Encouraging problem-solving and independent thinking
4. Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
5. QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
6. Experience teaching Product Design at KS3 and KS4
7. Passion for design, technology, and student development
8. Strong classroom management and communication skills
