Job Title: Security Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE + OTE
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in intruder alarm and CCTV systems. This role covers both installation and servicing work across a range of domestic and commercial properties, including offices, factories, and homes.
The successful candidate will work with a variety of systems including Pyronix, Scantronic, Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, and Paxton, providing top-quality service and technical support to clients throughout the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
Install and maintain intruder alarms and CCTV systems across various property types
Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
Work independently or collaboratively with other engineers
Participate in a 1-in-3 week call-out rota
Travel throughout the Midlands region
Experience:
Proven experience with security system installation and servicing
Solid understanding of intruder alarms and CCTV technologies
Confident communicator with a proactive and problem-solving approach
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel and participate in out-of-hours support when required
