Overview
We are seeking a dedicated fibreglass Laminator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various hand and power tools. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, contributing to the fabrication and assembly of laminated components with precision and safety. Duties
* Operate laminating equipment to assemble laminated panels and components according to specifications
* Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials
* Measure and verify dimensions using basic math skills to ensure accuracy of finished products
* Prepare materials by cutting, sanding, and finishing surfaces as required
* Perform fabrication tasks including assembly, fitting, and finishing of laminated parts
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
* Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or warehouse environments is preferred
* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
* Ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting while following health and safety regulations
* Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different tasks within the production process
