Your new role
As Facilities Manager, you will lead the strategic planning and operational oversight of the school's estate, facilities contracts, and support services. Reporting to the Finance and Resources Manager, you'll ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, manage capital works and improvement programmes, and align facilities strategy with the School Improvement Plan.
You'll supervise two staff members and delegate day-to-day site operations to the Site Manager, while maintaining responsibility for contractor management, catering oversight, sustainability targets, and risk mitigation. Your leadership will ensure the school's physical environment supports teaching, learning, inclusion, and wellbeing.
