Job Description
Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our friendly team at our Deeside site on a full time permanent basis!
Salary: £25,700 - £27,000 per annum, plus £2,000 shift allowance.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm.
As a Stock Controller you will contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all Stock Control processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents. You will play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse.
Key Duties of a Stock Controller:
1. Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
2. Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
3. Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
4. Hold and Release process.
5. Provide stock traceability information as and when required for reasons such as recalls etc.
6. Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
7. Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
8. Managing multi client and multi customer queries.
9. Assist Stock Management with investigations.
10. Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries and samples.
Qualifications
11. Previous stock control experience.
12. Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
13. Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
14. Team player who can also work on own initiative.
15. Excellent communication skills.
16. Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
17. PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
18. Experience of Autostore WMS is desirable.
