Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Hydrants and Firefighting Supplies function, providing effective direction and leadership to a dedicated team, ensuring the Service maintains compliant and robust governance in the provision and maintenance of water supplies for firefighting.
The postholder will be responsible for statutory obligations, operational planning, supplier and stakeholder engagement, data integrity, and the efficient use of resources.
This role requires proven people management capability, financial awareness, legislative understanding, and the ability to influence at all levels. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, sound operational decision making, and a commitment to sustaining operational readiness and continued trust in the Service.
