Medsolve are proud to be working with a client who are a forward-thinking care provider, they are looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join their home based in Penarth.
This is a full-time, permanent role – 39.4 hours per week.
My client offers a salary of £13.50 per hour. (Please note we do NOT offer sponsorship)

As a Senior Support Worker, you will ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our clients through their person-centred care plans to achieve and exceed potential.
Our client is a specialist provider of care for adults over the age of 18 with complex mental health problems, autism, learning disabilities, and neurological conditions including dementia and acquired brain injuries. They provide transition-focused healthcare and bespoke step-down services, including specialist assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and education.
Requirements of the Senior Support worker:
* You’re compassionate and committed with a desire to make a difference to those that you care for, in a positive and patient manner.
* Have a genuine interest in working with our client group.
* Ability to adapt your approach to the individual’s needs and a willingness to learn.
* Good communication skills.
* Be able to work flexible, 11.25-hour shifts that will include evenings, weekends, bank holidays and waking nights.
* We are looking for innovative and forward-thinking individuals.
* You would need excellent communication skills, as well as excellent listening skills, as you will be supporting people who use various methods of communication.
* Knowledge/experience/desire to support individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities or Challenging Behaviour is essential.
* You would need good basic comprehension of English language including basic literacy and numerical skills i.e., GCSE level or equivalent.
* Ongoing commitment to own personal development and training.
