A Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor is required to join a major organisation based in the South East on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will join an established in-house legal team and handle a range of nationally significant work.
The role offers flexible working arrangements, with attendance at the office at least once a week.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience managing and negotiating Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts, including performance monitoring, risk assessment, and stakeholder liaison across public and private sectors.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of PFI contract lifecycle management, particularly contract handback, asset condition assessment, and compliance with obligations. Experience in construction law or public procurement is beneficial but not essential.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Advising on engineering and construction matters related to infrastructure projects.
2. Managing the lifecycle of PFI contracts.
3. Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
4. Guiding on public procurement regulations and policies.
5. Handling legal matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
