A well-established financial planning firm in Norfolk, serving over 1,000 clients, including families, pension funds, trusts, and charities. The Role
We are seeking a Paraplanner to support the Financial Planning team in delivering fully compliant, high-quality advice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to holistic financial planning, working alongside experienced advisers and developing technical knowledge in a variety of areas.

Responsibilities

1. Analyse clients financial requirements, develop cash flow models, and maintain accurate client records.

2. Construct financial planning solutions across investment, retirement, long-term care, tax, and inheritance planning.

3. Prepare recommendations, letters, and reports, liaising with administrators and maintaining client files and IT records throughout the advice process.

4. Support client reviews, updating cash flow models, investment performance reviews, and associated reports.

5. Build and maintain client relationships through telephone, email, letters, and meetings, presenting solutions and recommendations where required.

6. Coordinate with colleagues to ensure applications and provider forms are completed and clients are kept informed throughout the process.

7. Collaborate with other professional advisers (e.g., solicitors, accountants) to implement agreed action plans.

Requirements

8. Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent); willingness to maintain compliance and regulatory knowledge.

9. Minimum of four years industry experience preferred.

10. Strong administrative, research, report writing, and communication skills.

11. Excellent analytical skills with a structured and organised working approach.

12. Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining CPD requirements.

13. Chartered Financial Planner status preferable, or willingness to work towards it.
