FINK'S Bakery is looking for a focused, organised and fiercely talented baker who has experience in large production and a passion for technical baking, decorating and organisation. You will work closely with our Head of Pastry to execute classic Fink's recipes, help maintain the quality whilst upscaling production and supply our 5 locations with delicious cakes, cookies, tray bakes and special bakes.
You will work with top suppliers like SHRUB Provisions, Natoora, Wildfarmed flours and Estate Dairy and work alongside other passionate bakers who are in the industry to continue learning and bettering their skills in the field of pastry.
We work hard, we make delicious food and we have a lot of fun. Striking the balance of those 3 things are at the core of what working at FINK'S is all about.
We are a growing company, whose goals include growing our retail range, supplying 6 locations with a wider selection of our bakery menu, provide our sister restaurant Saltine with impeccable bakes as well.
* 45 hours a week/paid overtime/28 days holiday
* 2 years minimum experience in professional kitchen
* Good at co-managing a small team of talented and willing pastry chefs
* Energetic, positive and organised
* Willing to work within created systems and keen to create new ones to grease the flow of large scale cake production
* Experience in large production
* Keen on detailed decorating
* In charge of daily ordering, stock management of dry and fresh goods
* Understands EHO regulations/keep cleaning rotas
* Food Hygeine Training of at least 2, but preferably 3
* Passionate about working with amazing suppliers
* Trialing new recipes as well as maintaining the quality of our classic and standard menu
* Work closely with Head of Pastry to help execute new ideas
* As of now, earliest start is 6am
