About the SEND Teaching Assistant Role:
* Help create a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment
* Support SEND children 1:1 or in small groups
* Assist with planning and delivering educational activities in and out of the classroom
* Motivate, encourage, and support children’s learning and progress
What is needed to be a SEND Teaching Assistant :
* Be flexible, proactive and patient
* Be nurturing and caring in your approaches
* Be able to communicate effectively within a team
* Comfortable providing support for SEND children on a 1:1 level.
* Have or are willing to obtain a DBS.
