We have an exciting full-time opportunity to join our fantastic Gardens Team
Marlborough College is spread across nearly 300 acres, with a variety of formal and informal spaces to look after. From beautiful formal gardens to encouraging the natural wilderness to prosper, our gardening team works in a wide range of spaces and on new projects across the estate.
We are looking for someone to join our skilled team who has a proven record in high-quality horticultural work, possesses energy and enthusiasm for caring for our environment, and enjoys working in a beautiful setting. The role is full-time, starting at 7:30 am, Monday to Friday.
You should be a good team worker with a responsive nature, an eye for detail, and a willingness to learn and gain qualifications. The Head Gardener encourages development; while you may not have formal qualifications such as RHS, NVQ, or City & Guilds in Practical Horticulture at this stage, she will support your growth in the role. A full driving licence and competent IT skills are required, but a wide range of practical training will be provided.
For further information about this role, candidates are encouraged to speak with the Director of Operations, Mike Naworynsky, to assist with their application and answer any questions about the position.
