Job Description:
National Locums is currently hiring Consultant Dermatologists and SPR/Associate Specialists to cover the following areas:
* Minor-ops
* Biologics
* 2ww clinics
Pay rates start from £800 per day and can go up to £2500 per day. Since most of this work is private clinic-led, you will be paid via your limited company, umbrella, or self-employed. The contract duration is from 3 months up to 1 year. The role requires the ability to see general dermatology patients referred directly by GPs, perform investigations, diagnose conditions, and recommend treatments.
When appropriate, refer patients back to their GP with management advice. Refer patients for specialist opinions from Senior Consultant Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, or Dermatology Specialist Nurses as needed.
Work alongside and support dermatology nurse specialists through joint patient reviews and case advice. Undertake procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage, and cautery.
The successful candidate will have nursing support available during clinics.
