Bushfield Road Infant School provides a positive, happy and safe learning environment where all children feel valued and secure. Due to the retirement of the current headteacher this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven senior leader who is dynamic, caring and passionate about making a difference to the educational and wider lives of our pupils and community.
We are looking for a leader who:
1. Is prepared for a challenge and has the commitment and energy to drive rapid and innovative school improvement;
2. Is passionate and will shape our school provision to meet the needs of all children and keep our learners happy, healthy and safe;
3. Is inclusive and committed to embedding achievement for all pupils, including those who have Special Education Needs, and to ensure their needs are met;
4. Has the expertise to lead, engage, empower, motivate and develop all staff, and support their personal development to achieve the best outcomes for all children;
5. Has high expectations of all pupils in their attainment, behaviour and attendance and the skills needed to translate these expectations into pupils achieving their full potential;
6. Will listen to and communicate clearly with all stakeholders, including staff, pupils, parents and the governing body;
7. Has an insight into the importance of the effective management of the school finances.
