Job Description:
Our client is a small Supported Housing charity for Veterans. The charity has embarked on a Change Programme across its operations, making it an exciting time to join and add value as a Housing Manager.
Job purpose
Responsible to the Head of Housing for leading and managing the Housing Team to provide tenancy management services.
Ensure delivery of a customer-focused housing service to ex-Service personnel and their dependents, engaging tenants in decisions affecting service delivery.
Implement and monitor Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe environment for tenants, staff, contractors, and visitors, complying with regulations.
Provide regular reports on performance outcomes and key performance indicators.
Manage day-to-day property and tenancy services expenditure within budget.
Collaborate across teams to support the charitable objects through excellent housing management.

Person Specification
Experience in housing management, preferably with local authorities or housing associations, especially in property and asset management.
Experience managing staff.
Knowledge of performance monitoring related to housing management functions.
Understanding of issues facing the ex-Service community, particularly Veterans with support needs.
