Global Cyber Security OT Technical Authority (TA1)
Unilever is looking for a Global Cyber Security OT Technical Authority (TA1) to join our Global Business Operations Cyber Security team. This high‑impact role supports the Supply Chain in delivering maximum resilience by securing our automation estate and advancing cyber security across Unilever’s global manufacturing, R&D and warehousing operations.
Job Purpose
As a key member of the Cyber Security Engagement & Engineering team, you will be responsible for OT cyber security across sites including automation and control systems, safety systems, engineering IT assets and both IT and engineering networks within factories, R&D and some warehousing locations.
Responsibilities
* Relationship building with senior management stakeholders and the Senior Leadership Team.
* Presentations to senior management and the Senior Leadership Team.
* Proactive management and delivery of OT security programme and projects to ensure design, scoping, project and financial management, quality reviews and risk controls.
* Liaising with stakeholders on delivery and implementation issues and identifying cyber improvement opportunities.
* Develop relationships across the business and monitor and uphold high quality of service and clear communication.
* Work to deliver an agreed portfolio of projects under the leadership of Supply Chain and Information Security leads, ensuring professional project execution.
* Support feasibility studies, project plans and impact analysis with IT, engineering and third‑party teams and participate in factory OT governance activities.
* Assist factory with non‑capital improvements, complex control related cyber troubleshooting and improving OT security skill sets within the factory workforce.

All About You
* Experience delivering OT security in an A&C environment within a global manufacturing organisation.
* Demonstrable experience of the cyber security issues facing manufacturing organisations and security risk management for industrial control systems and OT.
* Strong understanding of legacy A&C concepts, digital OT, Industry 4.0 technology and cyber security challenges.
* Strong team focus, communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
* Capability to lead teams with internal and external resources and drive improvement to standards.
* Proven background in cyber security management and project engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office – Excel/PowerPoint and Word.
* Travel approximately 10 %.
Preferred
* Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related.
* Recognised peer‑reviewed information protection qualifications.
* Experience in security management of industrial control and related systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, IoT).
* Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NERC CIP, ISA99/IEC 62443, NIST 800‑82 and NCSC frameworks.
* Fluent in spoken and written English and willing to work core time in the UK office or other regions.
