Due to our growth plans we have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Trading Performance Lead to join our tenacious team. This is a great role for someone looking to bring their insurance expertise to one of the country’s largest insurers, working in a area of key strategic focus!
A bit about the job:
The role sits within Personal Lines Retail, which is one of our major growth areas and often seen as its `shop window’ and the primary touch point for customers through its sophisticated digital channels. This role is key to the business with a lot of autonomy as you will have end to end, accountability for one of our core retail propositions, as well as being a driver for the growth of Retail. You will collaborate with the wider team and experts around the business to deliver amazing customer and commercial outcomes, demonstrated by KPI’s such as customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with a natural curiosity and eagerness to understand the market in which we operate. Someone who finds data driven solutions to performance issues through business insight, allowing us to make astute customer and commercial decisions to drive the business forward.

* Develop and implement proposition strategies to achieve business goals
* Drive strong portfolio (P&L) performance, by taking ownership and driving initiatives
* Lead, engage, influence, and empower direct and virtual teams, to deliver desired outcomes
* Analyse various sources of information, to make informed decisions and action
* Work in a collaborative and supportive environment, that thrives with creativity
Skills and Experience we’re looking for:
* Strong commercial competence and understanding of the personal lines’ insurance market
* Experience of delivering both customer and commercial (trading) improvements
* Natural curiosity to source and utilise insight, with a desire to drive the business forward
* Ability to encourage high performance, through excellent stakeholder management skills
* Confidence in challenging the status quo, leading change, simplifying, and adapting at pace
